Dr. Sara Sweatt was born and raised in Middle Tennessee and currently resides in Franklin. She attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology in 2012. Sara later completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2015.
Sara has practiced as an orthopedic physical therapist in Williamson County for over 10 years. Throughout her career, she has pursued advanced training and holds four additional specialty certifications, including Pelvic Health Specialist, Integrative Dry Needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, & LSVT BIG® for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
Growing up, Sara played multiple sports and has continued to maintain an active lifestyle. She has been a member of the CrossFit community since 2017 and loves lifting heavy weights (and loves helping her patients learn to lift, too!).
Dr. Sweatt is passionate about helping her patients perform and thrive while doing activities they love, from athletes striving to be at the top of their game, to moms wanting to work out again, to grandparents who want to play with their grandkids. She prides herself on being an integral piece of the puzzle for her patients to become the best version of themselves with their health & fitness.
